Seated Row with Towel
How to do it
Starting position
- Sit on the floor with your legs straight
- Loop a towel around the center of your foot
- Hold both ends of the towel with both hands
- Straighten your back and look forward
Movement
- Pull your elbows back while contracting your back
- Push your chest out and pull the towel toward your body
- Slowly extend your arms and return to the starting position
Breathing
Exhale as you pull the towel and inhale as you release
Cautions
- If your back rounds, it can cause a back injury, so keep your spine upright
- If your shoulders shrug, it strains your traps, so lower your shoulders
If you feel pain during the exercise, stop. If it continues, talk to a professional.
