Band Front Raise
How to do it
Starting position
- Stand on the center of the band with both feet shoulder-width apart.
- Hold the ends of the band in front of your thighs with both hands.
- Grip firmly with the backs of your hands facing forward.
- Keep your chest up and look straight ahead.
Movement
- Maintain a slight bend in your elbows.
- Raise the band forward to shoulder height.
- Pause briefly at the top to feel the contraction.
- Slowly return to the starting position while feeling the resistance.
Breathing
Exhale as you raise your arms, and inhale as you lower them.
Cautions
- Using momentum strains your lower back, so do not swing your body.
- Relax your traps so your shoulders do not shrug up.
