Barbell Curl: Are you swinging your body to lift the bar?

Keep your torso still and move only your arms to lift the bar. Do not swing your body to create momentum.

How to fix it

  1. Stand holding the bar with your palms facing forward.
  2. Keep your torso still and move only your arms.
  3. Keep your elbows at your sides as you lift.
Caution Do not let the bar drop as you lower it.

The app sets the weight for your next set

(For exercises you added to your routine yourself) For example, if you are a beginner and completed all 12 reps in each set at 25kg as planned in your last workout, the app sets your next weight to 27.5kg. When you log your sets, GYMKC reads your last set and recalculates the weight and reps for your next set.
